From the Pastor’s Desk….
Some of you may have noticed that the worship service has been changed up recently. Nothing big, all the parts that were always there are still there, but rearranged a bit.
When we first made the change, we had a little skit where two of our Elders stood up, announced that they couldn’t deal with the change and stormed out. Everyone had a nice laugh, and we were able to talk briefly about it before worship with folks at least seeming to be willing to see how the change would go.
All that said, change is a process, and I want you all to know that if you have concerns or questions about the change, I am absolutely available to hear them. Growth is the idea, and so by all means come and talk to me. While I can’t promise that your questions or comments will lead to more change, or a reversion from the change, it will let me know better where the congregation is at, and so inform later decisions that the Worship Committee makes on the subject.
In the meantime, continue to join us, either in person or online, as we gather and worship our God!
